I have worked at HA Accountants since 2013 and qualified as a full member of the AAT.

During time here I have dealt with a large portfolio of clients from SMEs to private residential landlords and sole traders.

HA Accountants is not just an ordinary accounting practice but a place where one can gain valuable work experience as well as important lessons.

There is a strong emphasis on self improvement through study and learning as a result of the ethos I am encouraged to study and gain knowledge.

As a committed member of staff I work diligently to ensure all my clients tax affairs and statutory returns are up to date.

I also take time out to meet my clients and review their accounts and financial circumstances to provide them with tax advice and managing their businesses in a sustainable way.

Outside of work, I enjoy going out with my family and visiting different places, reading and playing football.

In my spare time I also like to carry out voluntary work to help members of the community.

I have been working at HA Accountants for over 4 years and have a large portfolio of VAT registered small to medium size companies, self employed and rental clients.

Over the 4 years that I have worked here what has motivated me to carry on is that we get the opportunity to build a personal relationship with our clients, as we are given our own set of portfolio. This gives us the chance to really understand the clients and helps us to focus on the services which they really need.

While helping our clients meet their legal obligations, we also like to help our clients finding new ways of growing their businesses, how to be more efficient, cost effective and helping them to prepare for the future.

My responsibilities include developing strong relationships with clients, connecting with key business tasks and procedures and producing financial accounts.

I studied Accounting with Finance at the University of Bedfordshire, Luton Campus, from which I graduated in 2015 with a BSc Honours degree. I have worked at HA Accountants nearly four years and have had a career changing experience thus far. Whilst working here I have built, learned and adapted life skills that will set me up for the rest of my life and career, to help me deal with businesses and clients alike.

I have a keen interest in sports; I am an enthusiastic fan of Manchester United, I follow Formula 1 racing and also enjoy cricket. In my spare time, I collect and build Lego sets, I have built around 10 Lego builds. I find it therapeutic to build an object by following instructions and when it is complete I enjoy basking in the brilliance of what Lego can build.
